Our reviews and casino guides are written to be accurate, independent and useful. This page explains how we work.
Independence
Hotelguide by Kaions has no commercial relationship with any casino, hotel, gaming operator or sportsbook. We carry no affiliate links, sponsored reviews or paid placements. Properties cannot pay to be included, to improve a score or to review copy before publication.
Research and fact-checking
Reviews combine first-hand observation of each property with official fact sheets, regulator records, operator announcements and reputable local reporting. Facts such as opening years, room counts, rewards program names and the location of poker rooms and sportsbooks are checked against at least one primary source where possible. Where a detail cannot be confirmed, we say so or phrase it cautiously, and we encourage readers to confirm current details with the property.
Scores
Every property carries a hotel score and a separate casino score, each calculated from weighted sub-scores described in our methodology. The published total is computed directly from the sub-scores, so the two always match. Hotel and casino scores are never combined into a single figure.
Gambling content
Our casino coverage describes games, rules, house edges and gaming environments for adults who choose to gamble. We never claim that any system, strategy or game offers a way to win money over time, and we never encourage readers to gamble. Every casino page carries responsible-gambling information.
Updates and corrections
